Chuck Saathoff began his logistics career while serving in Vietnam in 1968 as an officer in the Army, Transportation Corp. Division. After being awarded the Bronze Star for Valor he was discharged in 1969. Thereafter, Chuck’s experience developed with companies such as StorDor Forwarding, Yellow Freight and BAX Global. It was at Right-O-Way Transportation that Chuck met his initial business partner, Doug. Chuck had a life long passion to own a freight forwarding company where he could integrate his experience, knowledge and have a positive role in the company’s future. Since incorporating in 1997 WorldTrans Services has seen tremendous growth and success.



Born and raised near Port Huron, MI. Matthew found his way to San Diego via the U.S. Marine Corps where he flew as a crew chief on the UH-1N Huey. Soon after his life-changing experience with the Marines ended, he was presented with a unique opportunity to put his leadership skills to work for WorldTrans Services Inc. In 1997, he began his career at WorldTrans and since then has worked in all facets of the company. Matthew soon established himself in the International Department taking a vital role in its growth to a leading provider in the San Diego market. He is most proud of all the team members he’s had an opportunity to work with and who have helped to make WorldTrans the company it is today.



A California native, born in Los Angeles, Doug has spent virtually his entire life in Southern California. Doug’s career in the freight forwarding industry began in 1976 with what is today known as BAX Global. After eleven years of operations experience with BAX he worked with a number of different freight forwarding companies including MSAS and Right-O-Way Transportation. Doug has been with WorldTrans Services since inception and has seen the development of what was a concept of a company turn into the multi-faceted provider of logistics it is today.



Hailing from Oregon, where she worked in Human Resource Management for the U. S. Forest Service for many years, Beverly came to San Diego in 1980, and began her career with WorldTrans Services nearly ten years ago. In 2007, after many hard hours of study, she received her Senior Professional in Human Resources certification. In 2010, she continued on with her studies and became a graduate of the prestigious UCSD HR Leadership program. Beverly was recently asked to become a member of the National Association of Professional Women and is excited about this new venture and where it will lead her. Beverly has a passion for people, and is dedicated to making a positive difference at WorldTrans Services.
