Chuck Saathoff, President
Chuck Saathoff began his logistics career while serving in Vietnam in 1968 as an officer in the Army, Transportation Corp. Division. After being awarded the Bronze Star for Valor he was discharged in 1969. Thereafter, Chuck's experience developed with companies such as StorDor Forwarding, Yellow Freight and BAX Global. It was at Right-O-Way Transportation that Chuck met his two current business partners, Doug and Debra. Chuck had a life long passion to own a freight forwarding company where he could integrate his experience, knowledge and have a positive role in the company's future. Since incorporating in 1997 WorldTrans Services has seen tremendous growth and success.

Debra Smythe, Vice President Sales
A San Diego native, Debra began her career in transportation after graduating from San Diego State University in 1987. She gained experience in International and Domestic operations at Right-O-Way for four years and then transitioned into outside sales. In her career, Debra consistently has ranked within the top ten Nationwide in sales. In 1997, the opportunity arose to partner with Chuck and Doug to create WorldTrans Services. As part owner in WorldTrans Services, Debra manages the marketing and sales departments and has created programs that have greatly benefited WorldTran's clients. Debra has always felt that the most rewarding part of being an owner is the ability to provide immediate solutions for clients and the freedom to react quickly to their needs.

Doug Scheevel, Vice President Operations
A California native, born in Los Angeles, Doug has spent virtually his entire life in Southern California. Doug's career in the freight forwarding industry began in 1976 with what is today known as BAX Global. After eleven years of operations experience with BAX he worked with a number of different freight forwarding companies including MSAS and Right-O-Way Transportation. Doug has been with WorldTrans Services since inception and has seen the development of what was a concept of a company turn into the multi-faceted provider of logistics it is today.
